Dr. Shannon Currey on Native Grasses and Sedges

After 15 years with a wholesale nursery specializing in ornamental and native grasses, Shannon recently joined Izel Native Plants. She will share how grasses and sedges deliver tremendous benefits and add unique aesthetic appeal in the garden. Focusing on native selections, she’ll explain their role in reducing erosion, managing runoff, and reducing weed competition.
