Barbara Tiffany – Gardening Against the Grain

September 16, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

BIO:
Barbara Tiffany is a brave gardener who comes to us from Pennsylvania. At age 53, she began to carve her garden, called Mill Fleurs, out of five barren and sloped acres perched atop a tributary of the Delaware River.

The garden is built around a grist mill dating to 1742 that has been reimagined as her home. She and her husband Robert are former furniture designers and have employed their knowledge and creativity to create this one-of-a-kind immersive collector’s garden. She balances her inner designer with her outer collector. She comes to the Charlotte Garden Club to talk about “Gardening Against the Grain”.
