Art In The Garden 2019 – Become a Groundbreaker

2019 Art In The Garden – Become a Groundbreaker

The Art in the Garden Tour is the Charlotte Garden Club’s annual fundraising event that allows us to continue on our mission…The Charlotte Garden Club was established in 1926 as Charlotte’s first garden club, making it one of the oldest in North Carolina. Our purpose has always been to expand for each generation the knowledge of gardening through timely programs and transformative community projects under the direction of experts in the fields of horticulture and design.

With your help, we can expand our educational programs to reach both new and experienced gardeners with the best gardening practices available. It can also help us raise awareness among our youngest generations about the delicate balance between plants, insects, animals, and man in sustaining our natural world. To this end, our recent programs have covered current topics like hydroponic gardening relief for earthquake-devastated Haiti to ozone gardens in schools, both also underway right here in Charlotte!

The 2019 Art in the Garden Tour will take place on Saturday and Sunday May 18th-19th in six residential gardens from contemporary to cottage, biographical to Zen, private townhouse to one laden with surprises! All proceeds from the tour will directly benefit the mission of the Charlotte Garden Club.
