color, texture and interest to the sometimes bleak
winter landscape. Larry is Professor of Botany and
Director of the Botanical Gardens at UNCC. He is
co-author of "The Winter Garden: Planning and Planting
for the Southeast." Learn about plants that grow in
Charlotte's climate, particularly those that thrive
during our often unpredictable winters. |
